Agents on your
own machines.

Create agents on the computers you own, then talk to them from the web, a desktop app or your phone. Your conversations stay on the machine that runs them.

Click a host to switch it off, or an agent to say hi.

Your data stays where
your agents run.

The server only knows who you are and passes messages along the relay. Agents, jobs and conversations live on the host.

What you can create

An agent for whatever you need

Swipe to see what your agents can take care of. Each one runs on your own machine.

Research

Searches the web, reads the original sources and compares what different sides say. It brings back a short summary with links, so you can check every claim yourself.

Your agents,
in your pocket.

Pair your phone from a signed-in computer: show a code, scan it, done. The code works once and expires in two minutes, so there is no password to type on a tiny keyboard.

Alex is an editor. They can read everything, send messages and edit agents, but can’t remove the host.

PostgreSQL, the server and the web app ship as Docker images. Answer with your own model through the chat runner: any OpenAI-compatible API, Ollama or LM Studio.

Questions

Is movl free?

Yes. Every part can run on your own hardware.

Where does my data go?

To the host you chose. The server stores accounts, sessions and the host list. Agents, jobs and conversations stay on the host.

Which AI models can the agents use?

The built-in runner is echo, which proves the whole path. The chat runner talks to an HTTP service you choose and turns on only when you enable it. What you write to such an agent leaves your machine for that service.

Does it work without the server?

The desktop app runs a local host, so local agents keep working offline. Reaching a host from another device needs your server.

Which platforms are there?

Web, macOS desktop, iOS and Android. The host runs anywhere Node or Docker does.
